Hour 1: The Christmas Story

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our theme of "Preparation", as we move closer to Christmas, and we discussed the Christmas story.  Scripture references were Luke 1 and 2.  We talked about the characters of the Christmas story with guest author Daniel Darling (pastor and podcast host).  His book is called, "The Characters of Christmas: the Unikely People Caught Up in the Life of Jesus".  We also talked with speaker, author, and radio host (Revive Our Hearts) Nancy DeMoss Woglemuth about her advent devotional, "The First Songs of Christmas: A 31-Day Advent Devotional: Meditations on Luke 1 & 2".  Finally, today was the 4th day of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway!  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.

Hour 2: The Unseen

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our theme of "Preparation", as we move closer to Christmas.  The scripture reference was Isaiah 28:16, as we discussed the unseen in our lives that can keep us from experiencing the real Christmas story.  What are the unseen things God is convicting you to work on this season?  The unseen needs to be addressed, it's the foundation...the cornerstone.  We also talked with Kevin Watson, Assistant Executive Director of MorningStar Mission Ministries.  He shared about their programs and needs, including this year's Christmas Book of Hope.  Finally, today was the 5th day of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway!  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
