She is the founder of The Fallow House and author of Let There Be Art: The Pleasure and Purpose of Unleashing the Creativity within You. Rachel’s writing has been featured in Christianity Today, Proverbs 31 Ministries, and (in)courage. She lives and writes in North Carolina with her husband and two children.

Rev. Percy W. McCray, Jr. with Health, Hope & Inspiration provides some tips for visiting friends in the hospital. Rev. McCray reminds us to prepare ourselves ahead of time and to be a source of encouragement to patients.  

Rev. McCray has spent more than 20 years ministering to cancer patients and their caregivers at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). He recognizes cancer care ministry as a special calling from God and considers faith a key, but often overlooked, component of cancer treatment. He now serves as the Director of Faith-Based Programs at CTCA® and provides leadership to the pastoral care staff at all five CTCA hospitals. In addition, Rev. McCray oversees Our Journey of Hope®, a nationwide cancer care ministry training, and support program. An ordained minister, Rev. McCray is a member of the U.S. Chaplain Association. Every week, Rev. McCray cohosts Health, Hope & Inspiration an award-winning podcast developed to help people find answers to questions about cancer, cancer prevention, and overall healthy living.

They then lived in Israel for 7 years, from 1995 to 2002, serving the Lord and raising their 3 children. Barry has worked as an Economist and International Business Consultant and served as the Executive Pastor of his home church in Loveland, Colorado. He is serving with ECEJ since 2014 and he and his wife Debbie live in Jerusalem with their daughter Kelly, son-in-law Travis and their 2 grandsons.
