Producer Kevin Downes is in-studio to tell us all about the upcoming film Jesus Revolution!
Kevin Downes is the Producer and co-star of the 2014 Sony Tri-Star motion picture, Mom's Night Out. He is also a co-star of the 2011 Sherwood Pictures film Courageous. Kevin currently helps manage the Kingdom Story Company, an exclusive partnership with Lionsgate, to create life-changing content from a variety of talented storytellers.
Originally from Visalia, CA, Kevin went to college at College of the Sequoias and California State University Northridge, studying Theater and Geography. He has been an actor since his high school days in California's central valley and early 20's in Los Angeles, having appeared in numerous commercials, television shows, and feature films. In 1994, Kevin was cast in his first Christian film, "The Crossing" and his passion for God combined with his passion for acting was born. He has appeared in 15 Christian films since 1994. Kevin is married to his wife, Catherine, and they have three sons. They reside in Tustin, California.

Since 1991 he has served as the pastor of River Christian Church. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Village Missions. He is a conference and seminar speaker and has written numerous articles on rural and small church ministries. He is the author of The Lighthouse: Discovering Security in the Radiance of God's Character.
He has also written five books related to rural and small church ministry, Leading the Small Church, Shepherding the Small Church (ECPA Gold Medallion Finalist), Developing Leaders for the Small Church, When Shepherds Weep, and his latest book, The Forgotten Church (A Christianity Today book of Merit award winner). He grew up on a farm in northern Idaho and attended Big Sky Bible College (B.S. in Biblical Studies), Western Seminary (M.A. in Old Testament Studies, M.A. in New Testament Studies), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Doctor of Ministry). Glenn enjoys photography, woodworking, camping with his family, and spending time working on the family farm.
