Happy Christian New Year! If you're scratching your head at this greeting, you'll want to jump into this advent conversation with Aaron Damiani. Aaron will take us back to some of the early church traditions regarding the celebration of the birth of Christ and how these can add depth, insight, and connection to this time of preparation for Christmas.
Hour 2: An Obstacle of Obeying: A Prepared Devotional Thought with Gerad Hall
What word or lesson comes to mind when reading about how the birth of Jesus came about? During our Tuesday devotional teaching, Pastor Gerad Hall will focus on an "obstacle of obeying." Be listening to hear one of the lessons God has for us this Christmas as we study the very first Christmas on Ken and Deb in the Morning.
Hour 3: Voice of the Martyrs Update: A Conversation with Todd Nettleton
The State Department released its annual list of “Countries of Particular Concern” on Friday with some surprising omissions and no press conference. Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs will join us to talk about it during our regular bimonthly update. Todd will tell us about a tragic story from Laos, and we’ll also hear how we can provide a Christmas blessing for children of Christians living in hostile and restricted nations. Don’t miss this opportunity to remember and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering for Christ around the world.
Hour 4: Frigid Feet: A Conversation with Christian Care’s Lexi Bull
What is it like to step into the shoes of the unsheltered in winter? Christian Care is providing the opportunity to join in a walk to raise awareness of what the homeless community experiences all winter long in the QCA. Lexi Bull from Christian Care joins Ken and Deb Wednesday to share the latest regarding homelessness in our community and tell us how we can be part of the upcoming Frigid Feet walk. Be listening to this ministry report and challenge on how we can show love this season on Wednesday’s show!
