Shepherding the Pastor: A Conversation with Rich C. Shadden
Does your pastor need a shepherd? As new pastors begin their ministry, it's easy to become overwhelmed with all the demands of ministry and start to burn out. Rich Shadden has served as a pastor for over ten years and shares his experience as a mentoree and now as part of a mentoring program for young pastors. Shadden says that just like a medical student needs hands-on training in addition to the book and in-class learning, pastors need more than just seminary classes to learn how to minister to the church. This conversation is a not to miss for those in the pastorate, but also for the congregation on how to best support your young pastor.
