If you’re a Jesus follower, you’re a leader. God has given you new life to influence your world. And whether we know it or not, people are watching us, looking to us for direction. Whether you’re a mom, a dad, a pastor of a church, a classmate, a teammate, a truck driver, you name it, you get to make a difference in people’s lives.
Steve Norman of Winning at Home joins the team to show what it looks like to be influencers who change our world. Steve’s a pastor, speaker, life-coach, and author of The Preacher as Sermon: How Who You Are Shapes What They Hear. So in real life this is how leaders change our world: We boast in our weaknesses (Steve needing to preach when his dad was dying), we get our identity not from what we do, but from being Abba’s beloved child.
As leaders, we don’t have it all figured out; we lead with love, not fear. We embrace accountability, (a conversation about the scandals that have rocked the church). As leaders we trust the Holy Spirit when unexpected moments call for words of life. We pursue integrity andadmit where we fall short. Last, we are teachable, anddon’t take ourselves so seriously!

Perry LaHaie
Perry LaHaie is a radio host, singer, and songwriter with a passion to see the Great Commission completed in our generation. He was born and raised in northern Michigan, earned a degree in communications, and later a graduate degree in cross-cultural communications. Music and ministry have taken him all over the world. He served at Family Life Radio before serving with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Kali and Taylor.
Shawna Beyer
Shawna Beyer has been a business owner, homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a management consulting company, and church staff member. Born and raised in Southern California, she has been married for 25 years and is the mom of four. Shawna loves to help others discover a personal relationship with God that shapes how they think, feel, and live for Jesus daily. She loves being surrounded by her family and a good cup of coffee.
