Afraid of the Holy Spirit?
Only the Holy Spirit can bring the dead things in us to life. Only the Spirit can bring revival. But if we’re afraid of the Holy Spirit, we can’t be changed, and we won’t see revival. David Doerner of Frontline Community Church in Grand Rapids shares why, for most of his life, he’s been afraid of the Holy Spirit.
Then, seeing the Spirit’s miraculous work and experiencing his love heals our fears . Next, David believes that revival is coming to our land through Gen Z. Then, what’s stirring in Gen Z is unlike anything we’ve seen in more than a generation.
Next, we probably already know what the Spirit wants us to surrender. But letting go seems so scary. Last, David just admitted to a friend, “I know I need to forgive someone, but I don’t want to!” That’s when a breakthrough began in his heart.
