Focal PointJosh is a veteran radio professional and comes to WCRF as station manager of Moody Radio Cleveland. Josh has been with Moody Radio in Chicago for almost six years, serving in a variety of roles, most recently as Director of Digital Radio Stations/streams for Moody Radio network. He has also served as Program Director, and Operations Manager for the network’s flagship station in Chicago, 90.1 FM, and its Spanish-language station, Radio Moody 1110 AM. Josh has been married to his bride, Mimi, for 24 years and they have one beautiful daughter, Viannea, who is also a member of WMBI-FM team in Chicago.
Paul has been a part of Moody Radio since 1975. He grew up in northeast Ohio attending Central Christian High School and then Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. He began working for Moody Radio part-time as an announcer. After a few years at Moody Radio in Chattanooga, he returned to Moody Radio in Cleveland. Paul is currently the operations coordinator and afternoon announcer. Paul and his wife, Becky, attended Moody Bible Institute where Paul earned a degree in Communications. They have three children, enjoy gardening and their grandchildren. They have a desire to pass on to the next generation what God has taught them by way of teaching Sunday School, men’s and women’s ministries and discipleship.
Brian became a Cleveland morning show host after working at Moody Radio in Chicago as a radio host, producer, and co-host of a weekly podcast. Brian caught the radio bug while teaching history at a public high school near Minneapolis, where he was co-host and producer of a weekly radio program. After teaching six years and graduating with a master’s degree in education, Brian lives with his wife and five children in Broadview Heights, Ohio.
Jannelle brings a lifetime of experience to her role as a morning show host. She was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. She attended Oberlin College, where she met her husband, and then earned her degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Jannelle homeschools their six children, manages the family's real estate business, and attends Christ Community Chapel in Hudson. She has been a contributor to Pause for Prayer since 2012.
Ron is a life-long resident of Medina, Ohio with one exception. For 18 months he "suffered" on the tropical island of Guam serving with Trans World Radio. Ron graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Speech Communications and Broadcasting. He has worked at nearly every instance of Christian radio in the market over the last 30 years, and has been a proud member of the WCRF staff since 2003. In addition to engineering Mornings with Brian and Kathleen, Ron spends the overnight hours moving boxes for a major shipping company (UPS). Ron is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren (so far).
Mike has served in many roles since starting at WCRF in 1999, including on-air evenings and weekends, and fill-in host for several programs. Mike prayed the “sinner's prayer” at a 1984 Petra concert, officially becoming a Christ-follower, and then becoming a Christian music geek. He started working at several Christian music shows and stations while studying at Kent State University and has continued working at Cleveland area stations ever since. Mike and his wife, Kelly, serve and lead in their local church.
Kelly was born and raised in Indiana. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana earning a double major in Media Communication and Vocal Performance. After graduating, Kelly joined Moody Radio in Chicago as a Promotions Assistant for Karl and June Mornings and as a Production Assistant for Ministry of the Week with Jon Hemmer and Equipped with Chris Brooks. Kelly is currently the Communication Specialist for Brian and Kathleen Mornings and Moody Radio Cleveland.
