Romans 8 is a powerful chapter for believers when it comes to understanding just who we are in Christ … and the access we have to the God of the universe! And today on Bold Steps, Pastor Mark Jobe is going to help us understand how we can live as more than just survivors.
On this edition of Bold Steps, we’re beginning the final part of a message titled No Condemnation … and discovering the fullness of the freedom Christ has won for us. Pastor Mark Jobe continues his explanation of how God delivered us from the eternal condemnation of our sins. Turn to Romans 8 and follow along!
Today on Bold Steps, we’re continuing our discussion about what it means to live condemnation-free ... and truly break the ties of sin and shame. In the first part of our message, we began learning how the law of the Spirit affects our relationship to the law of sin and death. Pastor Mark Jobe explained that through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our past sins cannot be counted against us … our present struggles are not punishment from God … and our eternal future is no longer in doubt. Now, he picks up with the fourth result of Christ’s sacrifice.
Today on Bold Steps, we begin a short series you’ve titled, Overcome. And Pastor Mark Jobe is going to start by talking about how we need to understand what condemnation is and why it’s such an important factor in our spiritual lives. Our message today is titled No Condemnation … and hebegins our lesson with a story about a traffic ticket ... and how his wife, Dee, was working to find out who did it.
On this edition of Bold Steps, Pastor Mark Jobe is talking us through the biblical process of how to get back what you’ve lost. And spiritually, the first step we have to take is simply realizing that we need to be clean again. We need to acknowledge our sin, identify where we’ve gone astray, and make the choice to go in the opposite direction. The message is titled, Get Back What You’ve Lost.
